...a new era...

Today is the first day of the rest of my life...

My term as the President of AIESEC in Bosnia and Herzegovina has officially ended. There have been tears and smiles, 4 wonderful years of joy and happiness, travelling and meeting new interesting people from all over the world...

I never thought this day would actually come. I have become an Alumni of AIESEC. I have finished my job, my term and have to move on.
I have so many ideas and all these things are just coming to my mind, all these projects and ideas how to make everything better, I feel like going to the office, opening the window and working at my computer again.

This organization has made me what I am today, it gave me love, friends, joy, experiences, sleepless nights, problems.. but most of all it gave me an insight into who I am and who I can become.

I will definitelly miss it.

Is there life after AIESEC? I will find out soon. :) I can't wait to do so...

Back from Greece

People, dear people...

I am back from Greece, the beautiful island of Crete where I spent the most amazing 10 days doing absolutely nothing. :)

I sunbathed, got a tan, went swimming in the deep blue seas, got my feet burned on the hot white sand of the endless, gorgeous beaches and of course visited all the ancient archaeological sites and listened to the glorious stories of the Greek gods and myths.

It was a typical student trip with 220 students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, going to Athens by bus and then to Crete by a ferry boat. It was quite tiring but definitely worth it.

The MTV beach parties, the boat parties, stopping at every little island surrounding the coast of Crete, the typical Greek nights, drinking wine, getting drunk (blushing) and dancing on tables (like typical Bosnians do).

Seeing the Acropolis, the Zeus caves where his mother made him live to protect him from his father, seeing the Labyrinths and ancient pottery in museums in Knossos, Agis Nikolaus, the Matala beach with all the caves where the hippies used to live (one of the favourite places of Janis Joplin, Elton John and John Lennon) and still do, shopping in Heraklion and Athens...

It's great to be back home though. I have to show off my tan :)

Smthg I heard today...

I was sitting having coffee with a friend of mine and in order to make me feel better she said something I have been thinking about ever since I came home:

SCREW LIFE, IF YOU CANNOT FEEL!!!

What she meant by it was connected with the conversation we were having, about taking risks and about being afraid to make a step forward. She said I should live my life to the fullest and if I get sad or happy those are all feeling which are an important part of living and if we are not prepared to feel those emotions then we are not prepared for life.

I agree! So screw life if I am not going to feel all those emotions, ups and downs and let myself feel all the wonderful joys of life.

Good times are ahead

Who would have guessed that summer is almost here? You should see the view from my window... people walking with massive umbrellas. It's been raining cats and dogs for the last few days.

I just came from Croatia, after a nice 5-day spent with my grandparents. Something i needed to get my mind together and now i am back at work in a hectic office trying to balance the end of my term, my exams, my other projects for the World Bank and organize my trip to Greece all at once.

I am leaving on Friday at 06:00 am. Going to Athens and the gorgeous island of Crete with a few of my good friends and a group of 200 other students from Bosnia and 200 students from Macedonia. It will be a blast I am sure...
I haven't started packing yet, but you should know what packing for a holiday out with the girls looks like...

1. 10 pairs of high heel shoes - my secret fetish ( i know i will scream for my flip flops when i get there)

2. some extra mini shorts and skirts and of course, hot pants

3. 3-4 bikins in different colours to go with my mood

4. my MP3 loaded with jolly music and my massive sunglasses and hats
5. my camera.. to remember the wonderful moments
6. lots of creams, make up, jewelley, nail polishes and all that girls stuff...

If someone saw me travelling in my track suit, with my dirty trainers and a huge sports rucksack on my back, with no make up at all, they would never guess what i have packed.

As soon as I come back I have so much work i think I will go mad, but don't want to think about it and while laying on a white beach, surrounded by cocktails and loud music I will let my mind wonder and for once enjoy my life 100% free of men and trouble...

The path to the truth...

On your way towards finding the truth you can make only 2 mistakes:

Not go that way
Not go all the way

Very true....
