Something random...
There is something wrong with the frequency levels in my house.Even though I am living on the top floor of a building on a hill in the middle of the city and have balconies facing 3 sides of the globe I still cannot catch the fm signal of my favorite radio station and don’t even get me started on the GSM signals.
I have to go out onto the balcony every time and sit at an exactly specific spot if I want to talk to someone on my mobile.
The people from the telephone company might be coming in one of these days to check what is going on but I think we might have to call the ghost-busters…

That is strange and funny in a weird way - the one side that you don't have facing the "globe" may happen to be the side the frequency comes in - but hey if i know anything about these things - I'm actually trying to do away with my cell.

Because of my condition, having to stay inside, I viewed your Flickr photo slideshow. I thoroughly enjoyed all of your pics.
You're such a ham and an excellent photographer, traveler and quite photogenic yourself; and your fingers are so long. That's great for playing the piano and saxophone. Take care on your upcoming trip.
hmmm...the very fact that u r on top of a hill might undermine yr efforts...u might just ask the telephone company to install a gsm tower on yr "hill"...wrt fm, u can try using an external antenna with yr radio :)...yr house sounds like the perfect resort to me!! away from everything ... peace n bliss
