Loveless life...

I came across this picture which got me thinking... Do you agree with this because I am still not sure ..? Does love really make the world go round? Can love save us all? Is there lack of love in the world?
In a world like we live in today,
is a story which lacks love really not worth telling?
If this is the case, I am afraid you migh wait a while untill I post my next story :P - 38 more days :)

I think there is a lot more love in the world than many people realize. I blame this mainly on media outlets who believe that feel good stories are bland and not sensational enough. Instead, stories of hate, war, death and fear are the focus...shock value is key...paranoia sells newspapers and keeps televisions locked on the nightly news. That said, I don't think all stories need to have love to be worthwhile or gripping, but they are much more realistic and interesting because love is just as present as hate and is a much more powerful force.
Go to windowtomymind February 3rd, Mind Starvation.
That is unconditional love not advertised and without celebrity.

I fell from the sky.
my flesh was displaced,
into a forgotten land
rotten from disgrace.
Lost children lost people
my eyes oceans of salt,
into a chaotic mess
no life no result.
I fell from the sky
without explanation,
children were dying
deliberate starvation.
Lost Children Lost culture
I was full of guilt,
buried a few children
they turned to silt.
I fell from the sky
changed forever.
There is a lot of love in the world. It's so often overshadowed by stories about hate, revenge and intolerance.
I guess a way around it is to pull oneself off the matrix a bit so to say.
Spend time with the ones you love, the things that give you joy, it may be something very simple. If it gives you joy there is love close behind. :)
love is gooddd
Too relative again I think.I havent loved someone in quite some time and i don know know if anyone has loved me too....Thats again my fault....see its relative..Let me wait for your story and see then.

What great questions you ask. :-) A story doesn't have to be about love to be worth telling.
So what are you counting down?
My trip to Singapore :))) a story worth telling
Every story contains a love of sorts. Even stories of malice or pain usually contain a love of self or a love of power. However I believe the quote in question refers to "story" as in the story of one's life...(but what do I know)
Love is the great motivator and one of the few things we all have in common...so a story WITH love has a universal appeal that makes it more relevant.
I wonder how you are defining love. That makes all the difference. Care to say.
Oh, as for blogging, I think you should share whatever you want to at the time irregardless of whether you feel it is a story about love. I'd love to hear more about your culture, travels, and life experiences.
Love or no love - every story is worth telling - sometimes, its those stories of love's ommission that makes us appreciate love even more. Every story with love is like every day with predictability. Sometimes, the chase in pursuit of love is more exciting than the love itself, but then in the end its love that we want but it would never be the same without the drama and excitement on the road to love. As for whether there is lack of love in the world, I just can't answer that since I do not know the world enough - living on an island, sheltered from the realities of other worldly events, life seems pretty good - I read about it but the experience and emotional effect is not nearly ever the same as living near or in the middle of it - living where you live, the perspective is a whole lot different and I have to wonder, how those war events have shaped your view of life - and ultimately love =)
hehe Hi Merili- I decided to answer your question here for no particular reason but you're welcome to quote anything from my blog =)
I really enjoy reading your posts - they are so thought provoking =D
so true...
I agree with it! The author loves his story and tells it well. And if the reader loves the story told, then of course the story is worth telling. That's a story with love!
I know this is 2 years late but I hope you enjoyed your stay in Singapore! Did you try the chicken rice?
