Destiny...

Do you believe in destiny?

Do you believe that if something is meant to happen it will happen no matter what we do or try not to do?

I am a great believer in higher forces, nothing religious, just plain forces which have written down a part of our destiny for each and every one of us and no matter what we do, we cannot change the things that will happen.

I believe we can influence the effects and the way we are going; those are the things we can control but in general life is just about reacting to these impulses we get from the outside world.

I also believe that everything happens for a reason whether it’s something nice to reward us, or something bad to teach us a lesson.

It might sound pretty plain and boring but some time ago I read that life is about 2 things:

  1. Surviving
  2. Reproducing

Quite sad... from a biological perspective this might be true, but from the human side it is much more.

Life is about art and enjoying, about having fun and creating, about doing what you love and creating a perfect world around you etc.

Life to me is exploring, learning and creating something to be proud of when we die.

My destiny seems to be taking me to Singapore, of course with a little help from my travel agent and the bank…

Where is yours taking you?

I'm still trying to figure that out and it is so confusing and very painful. When should logic and reason overpower raw emotion and inner drive to want run to something else? These are the questions that float inside my head.

I hope that Singapore reveals a wonderful and happy destiny for you.

Right here in Bulgaria. Then perhaps back to Africa to help with orphaned children.

Sinapore, what an enchanting somatic experience it will be for you. Your Destiny takes you there.

My destiny takes me 5 meters away to the fridge where an ice cold beer awaits me.

Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. (Benjamin Franklin said that).

Beer rocks.

Singapore sounds like an adventure and interesting destination - Destiny or no destiny, choice or chance, fate or luck, I always hope the good is destiny and the bad is chance - like when I went to get dinner tonight, I bumped into "Anna" again (bumped into her on sunday) and my heart thumps and I wish it to be destiny hehe

Where is my destiny going to take me? I guess in time, destiny will tell me. I prefer not to think about it too much, just let each day take care of itself, be happy, and make the most of our wonderful outdoors.

i love this post of yrs for two reasons...
1. Your flow of thoughts is so free and it is so distinctly translated to yr writing.
2. There is this subtle undercurrent of innocence in yr thoughts

i completely agree with you on this theory of yrs.. life is like a journey that has already been charted out for you...the choices you make are too superficial to alter it...
hope yr destiny lies in better and greater things...
cheers,

I like your positive outlook on how to live life. Now whether destiny takes me or I shape my destiny, I think it is some of both.
