Freaks in fairytales...
Something strange has been happening recently. Besides the fact the sun is back again (Merili jumping up and down with joy), I seem to have become a magnet for freaks and morons. :(
If you really want to know what I mean… read on carefully.
I have been out a lot in the last week. Partying, dancing, drinking… don’t wanna go on, already ashamed of it… (blushing)
I have been the fresh meat on the market for quite some time. Trust me, when you get out of a 6-year relationship you get all sorts of guys hitting on you.
Don’t get me wrong. I love the fact I have men in my life but not any kind of men…
Here is a glimpse of the conversation I had a few nights back:
He: Hi, you are cute!
Me: Thank you (look away)!
He: Can I introduce myself, Mercedes A Benz.
Me: huh?????? What the f***?
So this is what meeting guys in
- Sponzoruše (Sponsor girls; let me define the term: girl who only look at guys and they cash, cars, wealth, power…)
- Udavače (The marrying type; definition: girls who are only looking to get married and are seeking someone who has a job, stable income, a flat, the family of his back and no history or criminal record).
Hmmm…
Men are not wrong, all the time… There are girls (and a humungous number of them) being one of the 2 things I mentioned about, but some girls are just plain
Definition of normal: someone who wants to have fun, secure relationship, who is not after the money (for whatever reason), not chasing after his friends, someone who will be there to bring lunch to his work, kiss and make all the pains go away, massage him after a long day and tell him fun stories from her past and her experience. A normal girl will listen with her eyes open and her mind concentrating on every word he says. She will watch him carefully, give him TLC (tender, love and care) and she will be adventurous and want to have fun, out dancing, singing, to concerts, to picnics, travels, pick the flowers or do anything… with him.
If a guy send her an sms she replies, if he calls she answers, if he asks her out she doesn't play games and tells him everything straight up.
I have considered myself to be normal. But apparently a lot of guys cannot handle any girl who is being nice, simple, fun…

Is it not?
or are all guys I meet now just freaks and morons, schizophrenics and jerks just lurking around to make my life a living mess.

That conversation really made me laugh, I cant believe there are guys hoping to meet a girl in this way, and further more, I cant believe there are girls falling for these guys!?!?

this is similar in a lot of countries. russia, ukraine, turkey, azerbaijan, usa... a lot of countries i have visited have same type of girls
I know it is similar in all Eastern European countries but it has just become a trend here all of a sudden and I am being very frustrated by girls like that who are making a bad name for all the 'normal' ones... but defining normal is relative.
I think that jerks lurking around need girls like this to make them happy and to use them. I sometimes think that i am the odd one out for not being like that... maybe not.

we have way too many guys like that in Belgrade too...
I honestly hope it's a new trend... it has been happening here in the Balkans for a long time and I have been exposed to a lot of it lately, I am really getting bored of it. Today a friend came up to me and told me her brother moved out and is driving a new BMW M3 but is renting a flat in a very bad neighbourhood and has nothing in it but a matress because he can't afford anything else after buying a 50.000 EUR car. Damn!!! What'w wrong with people!? Can someone give me the answer...

I think we're doomed. Snowball down the hill effect. we eat more..but we're still hungry...so we eat more...we're all gonna die!!! :)
but don't worry about it. you won't live to see the demise. so pollute and consume as much as you can while you can. we're running out of natural stuff. take a chainsaw and cut some trees for cryin out loud. do something.

The qualities you mentioned are what I found when I met my wife 12 years ago. Don't give up...there are "normal" decent guys out there that will see you and appreciate you for what you are. In the meantime, keep having fun!!! I still do! :o)
